Kelly Tompkins Founder and CEO
Kelly has over eighteen years of experience in developing online travel solutions for leading companies, including SABRE, where he helped developed a travel agent web booking service called WebReservations, Expedia, where he worked on dynamic packaging, GetThere, where he led strategies for air and leisure products which included implementation of the United Airlines, EFares yield management system. Kelly co-founded Tripeze.com, one of the major online travel agencies in Canada, later sold to Sears. Kelly also founded LeisureLink, one of the leading distribution networks for vacation rentals. Kelly graduated from the University of British Columbia with a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Science degree in 1994 and is former member of the Canadian National Cycling Team.

Steve Dashiell Chief Creative Officer
Steve has 15 years experience as a digital entrepreneur and design thinker across a broad range of interactive media. He is Cofounder of Metro Media, a location based social commerce company. Before Metro Media he was a Partner at Global Digital Media, a multi-touch solutions provider. Prior to GDM, Steve worked as the CEO at MetaNet, an immersive web company, and Managing Director at MOFO Design Agency. Since 2008 he has served on the faculties at Ashford University and the Ken Blanchard School of Business as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Visual Communication.
Where I want to go: Trekking in Tibet and scuba diving in The Red Sea of Egypt.
Andrew Plewe Senior Software Engineer
Andrew drives AdventureLink's technology development efforts. He has over 12 years experience developing web-based software for public and private orgainizations alike. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, snowboarding, and making music. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
Where I want to go: Hiking and Snowboarding in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains and cooking classes in Italy
Jimba Tamang Senior Software Engineer & Technology Advisor to AdventureLink
Jimba is a front-end development expert. He is an innovator and perfectionist in the world of technology. His crave for aesthetic & effective coding enables our applications to be light-weight & user-friendly. He has been constantly working hard on giving AdventureLink's users a friction-less ui experience.
Jimba spends most of his time with his team. While his expertise is front-end codings, he also loves supervising his team in project management, technology strategy and product standards.

Dave Berkus Chairman & Co-Founder
Dave Berkus, Adventurelink Chairman, is acknowledged as one of the important pioneers in travel technology, and is an inductee into the hospitality industry association’s Hall of Fame, one of only thirty such people worldwide. His pioneering work includes the earliest reservation and accounting systems for hospitality. He is credited with creating the first artificial intelligence yield management system for the travel industry. Successful as an early stage investor after selling his travel technology company in 1990, Dave is acknowledged as one of the most prolific super angel investors in the world, and is often tapped as a keynote speaker on the subject. The Forum for Corporate Directors named him “Director of the Year” for early stage businesses in recognition of his work on over forty-five private and public company boards, helping entrepreneurs successfully grow their enterprises. Dave is author of five books for entrepreneurs and private equity investors, including the BERKONOMICS series of three books and a weekly email and blog distribution to over 25,000 readers.
Richard Bangs Board Member
Richard Bangs has oft been called the father of modern adventure travel, and the pioneer in travel that makes a difference, travel with a purpose. He has spent 30 years as an explorer and communicator, and along the way led first descents of 35 rivers around the globe, including the Yangtze in China and the Zambezi in Southern Africa. He was founder and editor-in-chief of Mungo Park, a pioneering Microsoft travel publishing effort. He was also part of the founding executive team of Expedia.com (www.expedia.com), and served as its Editor-at-Large. He was creator and publisher of Expedia Travels Magazine (published in partnership with Ziff-Davis), and executive producer of Expedia Radio, and founder and executive director of Expedia Cafes. He also served as president of Outward Bound; Founded Well-Traveled.com for Slate, and was founding editor and executive producer of Great Escapes, another Microsoft Travel initiative (www.greatescapes.msnbc.com). He also ran and founded First and Best for MSN, and founded Sobek Expeditions, which in the early 1990s merged with Mountain Travel to become Mountain Travel Sobek (www.mtsobek.com).
He is currently producing and hosting the new PBS series, Richard Bangs’ Adventures with Purpose (www.adventureswithpurpose.tv), and his companion book, Adventures with Purpose, won the 2007 best book award from NATJA. Mike Paulin Board Member
"Mike Paulin pioneered the vacation rental experience and partnered with Peter Ueberroth to develop Hawaii's Colony Hotels into the largest resort condominium management company of its day. He went on to found the Aqua Hotel chain with innovative hotels and resort condos throughout Hawaii. For many years he served on the Board of the prestigious Pacific Asia Travel Association and later as its Chairman traveling the world advocating sustainable tourism in speeches and lectures. He has first hand experience in adventure travel having completed dozens of treks, safaris, and cycling experiences across Europe, Asia, Africa, and throughout the Americas. Most recently, Mike was out scouting adventure travel for several months in the Philippines and Nepal including revisits to Nepal's Mustang, Annapurna, and Everest regions. He resides near Aspen, Colorado in the town of Carbondale which Outside Magazine has honored as a "Best Places to Live".
