This morning we make a trip to the beach for a 3-hour surfing lesson in one of the best beginner surfing areas in Costa Rica • After being outfitted with a board, leash and rash guard, a bilingual instructor and his assistants will give you a safety talk and begin to demonstrate the basics of surfing before you even get into the water • When you feel confident enough to give it a go, your instructor will accompany you into the waves • Surfing is tiring work, so when you’re ready to take a hard-earned break, help yourself to fresh fruit and delicious cold drinks on the beach • The afternoon is yours to enjoy at the hotel or exploring one of the many activities Manuel Antonio has to offer, including boating, river rafting, fishing, snorkeling, diving, canopy tours and more (not included) (B, L, D)
