Dance, drink and eat your way around the most sophisticated European city in South America—Buenos Aires. Get to know the city everyone loves to love, as you tour colourful La Boca, funky Palermo, bohemian San Telmo and swanky Recoleta—home to Eva Peron's tomb. Enjoy a tango show before a free day to explore the 'Paris of the Americas' on your own or dance the night away in the smoky milongas (tango houses). Don't forget to indulge in possibly the best beef in the world!

Day 1: Buenos Aires

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your Buenos Aires hotel.

Day 2: Buenos Aires (B, D)

Early morning departure from hotel for a city sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires. Visit the historical May Square (Plaza de Mayo) surrounded by the Government House (Pink House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the ancient City-Hall, seat of the former Spanish Viceroys, also the colourful neighbourhood of La Boca -of Italian immigrants, and the bohemian San Telmo; the Obelisk, passing by one of the widest avenues in the world, namely, 9 of July Boulevard as well as the famous Colon Opera House. Heading north-eastwards, we will then reach the most fashionable districts of the city: Recoleta, with a scent of French charm, with a visit to its artistic cemetery, where Evita Peron's tomb is, among others of prominent local characters and the spacious Palermo Parks. In the evening enjoy dinner followed by a tango show.

The first Tango emerged at the end of 19th Century from a mixture of various rhythms which were danced in the poorer quarters. Forbidden in the beginning for its enormous sensuality, it is now not only part of the background music of Buenos Aires, but is its most important icon. Enjoy a special “porteña” music night at one of the excellent tango places, where typical songs and dances are performed.

Day 3: Buenos Aires (B)

Spend today at leisure! Enjoy the chance to explore on your own - find yourself a great little café for some of the best people-watching around, or perhaps enjoy the city's many museums, world-renowned shopping or one of several optional day tours.

Day 4: Depart Buenos Aires (B)

Check out of hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
