This has to be one of the most fun tours we have ever done! Our tour guide Reed was a blast. The car was fun to drive around in and everyone we passed waved and took our pictures! We had a absolutly cloudless, blue sky day, and we just had a great time. The cars can get to places that the big tour buses can't, and the driver stopped a lot so we could take pictures. We bought the tour that came with Alcatraz tickets, so after the tour we had time for lunch before our trip there. Highly recommend!

I had been to San Francisco one time before but didn't get to see much. With this tour I felt like I got to really see it all. The best part was that I got to sit up front on the tour with the driver. So, hilarious seeing people driving by taking pictures of us. If you don't have a lot of time in this great city then I highly recommend this tour. You see so much of this beautiful city that would take you ages to find on your own.

Don our tour guide did a great job showing us the city from a local's point of view. The 1920's tour car held 8 people only which made the experience intimate. We got out of the car several times to really take in the sites such as a fortune cookie factory,a grand view of the Victorian houses. Many time great eating establishes were pointed out all over the city from Irish pubs, Italian Mom and Pop restaurants, and Chinese dim sum. As a local, these recommendations are well taken in. I suggest taking this tour at the beginning of your vacation to assist u in getting around and appreciating. San Francisco.

This tour is great fun in a restored car with a lively and informative guide. It's not cheesy and every seat is a good seat with a great view - 10 seats in total in our car. Managed to keep both adults and kids entertained with whimsical stories and some real history, too. There was even a stop for a bathroom break (x2). Covered a lot of ground and took us to some areas we might not see on our relatively short trip. Didn't need to go up or down Lombard b/c everyone will do that anyways - it was better to hear about what really happened after the Summer of Love...

We did the 3 hour city tour and totally enjoyed ourselves. John, our tour guide, was very informative and wove in stories of his growing up in San Francisco as well. Saw much of the city so felt like I knew a lot more when it was over. The blankets are a nice item as it does get chilly being in an open air car. The car was very fun as well. I would definitely book at Mr Toad's again.

We had a great time on Mr. Toad's Tours. John Francisco was a terrific tour guide. since he grew up in SF he was very knowledgeable about the city, architecture, history, etc. We had a great time on tour and the mode of transportation was quite fun. We had our pictures taken a couple of times. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants an intimate overview of SF. Also, they had tickets to Alcatraz and we thoroughly enjoyed that tour as well.
