I did the 90 minute evening tour with Reid on the 21st June and had an enjoyable time seeing SF. Reid was very informative, even pointing out things we didn’t see/notice on other tours of SF! The old fashioned car was very cool to be in especially as I got to sit in the front seat! Since it was an evening tour (7pm one) we were able to slow down/stop on some of the roads so things could be pointed out/explained without other drivers tooting their horn at us. The tour covered quite a lot of areas and the hills! It did get quite nippy as the tour went on and I was glad when we stopped near Fort Point (for GGB photo op) so I could finally put my hoodie on. I would recommend this tour although I think in hindsight I would have preferred to do the 8pm tour so it was darker to get the photo’s i.e. illuminated lights that I really wanted although I did get some great shots with the sun setting in the background.

This is a great tour! Authentic 1920s vehicles in beautiful condition and hold approximately 12 people. Tour guides are friendly and informative. Pick up is conveniently on Fisherman's Wharf. Tours run during the day and night. Best to make a reservation. Dress warm, cars are open but new period looking blankets are provided. We had a day dour, if we return, will take the night tour. Definitely bring camera.

We only had a partial day in San Francisco and wanted to see as much as we could and I saw the reviews on Mr. Toad's Tours and booked with them. We were not disappointed. They were great from beginning to end. Ken was wonderful, knowledgable and funny. He brought San Francisco alive while wisking us around the city. We saw everything we had hoped for and then some. Would highly recommnend him and the tour. Good way to start a vacation in San Francisco as well.

My daughter and I took the 90 minute tour and it was a great introduction to the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city, and had a great personality. What we really liked about this tour was that our guide was not reading off of a script, and he added in new information that was very interesting. It is well worth the money and a wonderful way to get to know the city.

Mr Toad's Tours was an excellent introduction to SF and we loved riding around in the old car with everybody staring at us. The tour guide was very knowledgeable with many years experience of the are, and he cracked a few good jokes too

This was by far the most enjoyable and informative small group (6 people) tour my husband and I have ever had. Our guide Ken was helpful in recommending places to eat and sightsee. We toured in an old car, open windows so it was a little cool but they supplied blankets which we used going around the Presidio. I liked the small group and the inexpensive places he brought us too, especially China town where we had cheap and excellent chinese food. It was so much fun going to places the bigger vans/buses couldn't get too because we saw the back roads of S. F. with a much more personal guide who could answer all our questions. HIGHLY recommend these guys, great fun!

There were nine people on the tour, which was a perfect size. John Francisco has a great personality and is the most knowledgeable person about San Francisco that I have ever met. He said that he reads about San Francisco every day and it shows. We took our niece who had never been to San Francisco before and we saw all of the highlights. The vehicle is fun and can go everywhere. This is much better than the large bus tours and very reasonably priced.
