Adventure Tour - 4 Zip Lines

It was my 1st time zip lining and I had a great time. Out of all of the activities we did during our week in Maui, this was my favorite. The guides were fun and informative. We had "V" and James. They were great! If you are a 1st timer, I recommend doing at least the 5 line. It takes one or two lines to build your confidence (at least it did for me, I was too nervous to use my camera on the first line). And the last 3 or 4 you can totally enjoy since your nerves are out of the way. And unless you are afraid of heights (which you probably are not if you are considering zip lining), you will definitely enjoy it and want more once it is over. So 3 lines is not enough. One reason I picked this company is the breaking system. Another couple told us they used a different company and had to run up a ramp at the end. I was not wanting to do that, especially since it was my first time. I like the spring/coil breaking system.

Awesome fun and a thrill like nothing before,i loved ziplining with Gozip Hawaii at Kapalua,i highly recomend it.Staff was great and they really took our safety serious,i also recommend the suspension bridge,crazy!! It is the largest one in all hawaii(i looked it up) plus one of thier ziplines was super long and so fun,felt like i was flying. Mahalo guys for the great experience,will see you next year again! The entire experience from start to finish was awesome!!! Bert, Rian, and Koa were excellent guides and made the day feel safe and fun!! I would recommend doing at least the 4 line tour with the giant swing. The giant swing was a great stomach dropper intro and made the four zips feel like a breeze...literally!!

Did the zip line while on vacation for he first time. James was our guide. All was great.

We had an awesome tour guides Virgil and Thomas, they were great fun, they taught us about the local culture and amazing environment we were hiking through. We chose Kapalua Adventures because we found their safety set up is way above the rest. We felt safe and comfortable with double hook ups and your own trolleys on the zipline - as nervous as I was to do this , I always felt secure! It was a wonderful day for our family and a memorable event that made our girls smile. The views through the valleys and forest overlooking the ocean were spectacular. This is a must for any family coming to Maui and Kapalua Adventures does it the best. It was easy to check in and we had a great local breakfast at the General Store and fun souveniers. Had never zip lined before and wasn't sure what to expect. I'm not particularly afraid of heights - but I do not like roller coasters at all. Fortunately, there is no feeling of 'free fall' on this...you are just gliding. The first zip is the most nerve racking but once you do it, then the rest are just plain fun. I would recommend doing an afternoon tour b/c you'll get to see the sun coming down (you'll be done before sunset). Ryan and Matt were our guides and they were a lot of fun. Made everyone feel very comfortable and secure, too.

I wish I could find the business card I had with the names of the 3 guides on our zip line trip at Kapalua Adventures. They were great. I was terrified but did all five zip lines; by the 4th, I was even able to breathe. The guides were fantastic, very nice, knowledgeable, and most important for me - patient. If it hadn't rained, the views would have been awesome but nonetheless, we had a good time. It may be more expensive, but well worth it.

The zip lines were stunning the spring stops were thrilling! I had an amazing time and would definitely go again. Our guide, David, was funny and good with all ages making the tour very enjoyable! Can't wait to come again :)

Had a great time ziplining with this company! The staff was fun, helpful, and always put safety first. The sights are awesome and the experience was so much fun!!

What an experience!! We chose , after a long debate, to do the high course. Boy are we glad we did. The lower course looked ok but nothing compared to the upper one. I am usually really afraid of heights so this was going to be a challenge. Yes, the bridge at the beginning was scary but I closed my eyes and just walked. It was over in a few seconds. The first line is not that long, and flies over a decent size gorge. It was a litrtle difficult to let go on the first one but soon you realize how safe it is. The harness is like a body suit , and the handlebar gives something firm to hold on to. There is no dropping sensation because the rollers start slow and gradually build speed. Also there is no "jumping" off of a platform. It is smooth and easy. Then after your confidence is up its on to the big ones. There is no way to describe the "Beast" as the 3rd line is called. Beautiful scenery!! Thomas and his other guide(forgot his name but he wears a Raider helmet) are awesome.. They are funny, competent and friendly. It is expensive but what isnt in Maui and well worth the effort. I will definately do it again if we return to Maui. Thanks guys for a once in a lifetime experience!!!

My group did the 4 line trip with Ryan and Dennis at Kapalua adventures which last about 2 hours. This means you do 1 practice line and 3 full-length lines. After doing the four line run I wish we had done the entire mountain (7 or 8 lines), but time constraints and extra cost prevented this. Ryan and Dennis were very professional, entertaining and fun. Their concern for your safety is obvious which goes a long way with in easing one's mind when embarking on an activity like ziplining. Also, Kapalua Adventures uses some serious custom hardware for their ziplines and I can honestly say I was never once concerned for my safety while ziplining. Overall this activity provides a lot of fun with great views of the island and ocean from high up the mountain.

We choose this company for two reasons. It was in close proximity to our condo in Kaanapali (15 minutes away) and, most importantly, we liked the equipment used to "zip". In your research to choose a zipline company take a close look at the equipment they use. While I'm sure all meet safety standards...Kapalua Adventures looked like the most comfortable and stable. We also liked our guides. They were fun, friendly, and polite. They made everyone feel at ease. My family of 4 had a BLAST!!! While it is on the spendy side....it's a once in a lifetime must do!!

Our zip guides Dennis and Thomas rocked. We had no issues. As long as you follow the guide's instructions and hand signals it'll be all good. The view was awesome. A would really like to check out the sunset zip.

This was absolutely one of the best adventures we had on Maui. The guides (Dennis and Newey) were very friendly, helpful and very safety concious. This was our first time to zipline and it was awesome. When we go back we will definitely go back to this zipline company. Highly recommend going here and using Dennis and Newey.

What an awesome check in the box for the life list. We went with 2 other couples and decided on the 4 line zip tour. The views are absolutely amazing and the guides were a blast. Virgil and Thomas know their stuff and made safety their numero uno priority. Request these guys if you can. :) VERY fun way to spend part of your day in Kapalua.

This was my first zip line experience and it didn't disappoint. James was awesome, funny and made us all feel so comfortable. Easy safety instructions. My only complaint was that it didn't last longer! Do it, you won't regret it!
