June in Alaska is the best time of year for corn snow. The lake has thawed and the planes have traded in their skis for floats. The days are long and we can ski and/or fish any time…. even at midnight. All access is by helicopter, whether we are chasing wild Rainbow Trout, King Salmon or endless runs of perfect corn snow. The lodge is the best place to create a private trip, a family gathering, or join our group if you’re looking for good company. When we’re not skiing or fishing we are enjoying a soak in the hot tub overlooking the lake, a gourmet meal, or a fine glass of wine on the deck, watching sunsets that last for hours.

You arrive into Anchorage on the first date of the trip and spend the night at the Millenium Hotel. The following morning we fly out to the lodge where the fun begins.

Packages at the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge never have more than 12 guests! With this lower volume, personalized method of operation, one gets all of the advantages of booking a private Alaska heli skiing experience without having to come up with the private group. With only three groups of four skiers at any given time and 1.5 million acres of skiable terrain we are capable of delivering more skiing over a broader range. This exclusive experience provides the finest combination of lodging, food and and Alaska heliskiing. When you book a trip with Kim, you get Greg Harms (lead guide at TML) as your lead guide and Kim as your tail guide. This is the only package that offers 2 guides for your group of 4.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate and Advanced

Day 1: Arrive

You arrive into Anchorage on the first date of the trip and spend the night at the Millenium Hotel. The following morning we fly out to the lodge where the fun begins. The 40-minute trip from Anchorage to TML is onboard a float or ski plane.

Days 2-6: Ski and fish Alaska

The days are long and we can ski and/or fish any time…. even at midnight. All access is by helicopter, whether we are chasing wild Rainbow Trout, King Salmon or endless runs of perfect corn snow. When we’re not skiing or fishing we are enjoying a soak in the hot tub overlooking the lake, a gourmet meal, or a fine glass of wine on the deck, watching sunsets that last for hours.

Day 7: Depart

Return flights are in the morning to make afternoon and evening flights back home.
