Forbidden Coast & Molokini

Sean and Kelly were great guides. Kelly was awesome at diving in and pointing out different marine life. The backside of Molikini was beautiful, seeing the deep water and fishes that don't hang around the reefs. Redline gets to Molikini before the large boat crowds. Only suggestion for improvement is to have a better/bigger selection of wet suits for guests. My wife and I had a great time. Also saw lots of whales.

Redline Rafting created the most memorable experience for us today with our snorkel trip. I cannot say enough for their professionalism and respect for their clients and the environment in which they work in. Sean and Andy were very knowledgable about Maui and the islands and the underwater life that we observed. My husband, myself and our 2 teens went on the trip. We picked them because they were recommended by the locals which says alot about their service. They only take up to 24 and only go on one trip a day so you are not rushed in and out of the water. We were overwhelmed by the crystal clear waters, coral life that is coming back and the numerous fish species on both sides of Molokini Crater (yes they snorkel on the backside which is an incredible experience). One of our teens was even able to talk to a turtle at Turtle Town who was checking her out. And of course who cannot say enough about the Humpback Whales! They were in full show today with full breaching right in front of us. It was great to just stop the boat and watch them until they went away. We even had bottlenose dolphins visit the boat on our way back to the ramp. I cannot say enough about their service!!! Go with them if you ever want to snorkel at Maui. You will not be disappointed!!

The two owners ran an incredible trip. They were both extremely knowledgeable and fun. We did the molokini trip and saw two whales almost immediately. We snorkeled at 4 different locations (other tours normally visit only 2). The boat ride itself was a lot of fun. Be prepared to get wet! This is an active trip for the adventure oriented.

Three of us had an amazing snorkeling experience at beautiful sites with great captains Sean and Andy on an amazing, high speed (and stable!) red boat. Leaving early in the warm morning, we zipped over to molokini, had a delicious breakfast just outside the little harbor, and then snorkeled with expert guidance from Andy and Sean. The steep backside of molokini was next...and experienced the amazing "elevator" of water that slides you up and down 6 ft or so effortlessly and safely against the side of the island. LaPerouse coastline followed and with its striking black lava and basalt. We cruised up the coast to Makena to see many turtles up close and undisturbed. Lunch was great and Sean was hilarious the whole trip and he and Andy very knowledgeable. Don't miss this opportunity! These are great guys.

We snorkeled at five different sites! No other boats snorkel the back side of Molokini. Andy and the rest of the crew were fabulous. We saw soooooo many dolphins! Great boat ride. Beautiful new raft. You gotta try it.

Redline is the newest high tech raft in Hawaii. It's huge and very comforatable with shade and a bathroom on board. This is a trip like no other Molokini trip. The Capt's Sean and Andy take turns driving and getting in the water with you to point out all the cool stuff. They are young and enthusiatic and also own the boat. They are living the dream and taking you along with them. Not going to tell you all their secret spots but we saw a whale, turtles, a huge eel, and spinner dolphins...lots of unique snorkel sites including the back wall of Molokini. Don't tell Redline, but I would have paid much more to take this tour with the experiences we had seeing a number of different marine life around Maui. What an amazing adventure this was. This was my favorite excursion that we booked while in Maui and we did a helicopter ride over Molokai and West Maui as well as another snorkeling excursion to Lanai. This was over five hours of amazing snorkeling to see dolphins, sea turtles, fish that looked like snowflakes in the water on the backside of the Molokini Crater and even a shark. Yes, we got to see a shark and I could not believe how safe I felt with the guides with us. Never could have imagined being in the water with a shark and feeling save, but you do when you are with these guys as they know the environment well and educate you every bit of the way. The dolphins swam around us for over 45 minutes and this was the most sarine experience I ever had. Just floating in the water above as they played all around us. WOW. Although we did not, some of the group even got to see an octopus. Ben and Andy were top notch guides and explained everything we saw. They never rushed us and would let us stay in one spot as long as we wanted. I heard of Hawaiian time, but never like this before. We enjoyed every minute of this excursion. They even asked us if we wanted to make one more stop on our way back even though we were going to be going over our time.
