The most typically Swiss of all cantons is situated in a singularly beautiful landscape of rolling hills. While cycling on our E-Bikes we pass mirror-like lakes, crystal-clear springs, dizzying rocks and picturesque villages. Appenzell where traditions are alive and well, enchants us with its authentic customs and excellent gastronomy and cuisine. We have a look over the shoulders of a cheesemaker, try the local beer, wine and schnapps and experience traditional folkloric life.
After Appenzell we cycle to Einsiedeln, the most important place of pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary in Switzerland. The high valley of Einsiedeln located in the heart of Central Switzerland is characterized by moors and Lake Sihl, the biggest reservoir in Switzerland in terms of area.
Our final destination of our E-Biking Adventure is the lake Lucerne region in the very heart of Switzerland. Lucerne is a cultural city with museums, theatres and festivals providing a perfect blend of tradition and trendy and has magnificent view of the lake and mountains. Complete with gable paintings, the covered, medieval Chapel Bridge forms the centrepiece of Lucerne's townscape and is considered to be one of the oldest, covered wooden bridges in Europe.
E-bike tour participants must be at least 16 years of age.
