Luxury Travel Eco Trips
A six-day safari that starts and finishes in Kigali, wherein such can be done on a scheduled and private basis. Your journey takes you through the beautiful terraced hills that characterise much of Rwanda's landscape.
Gorilla tracking in Parc National des Volcans, through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga range, is one magical experience that you should't miss. On the other hand, you can either go gorilla tracking again (additional permit required, subject to availability), or choose from one of many options - tracking the endangered golden monkey or trekking to Dian Fossey’s grave and the gorilla cemetery, visiting the local school and community projects supported by the Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust, relax on the shores of Lake Kivu, and even take a guided walk to Lake Bulera.
Further exciting activities are to experience the lives of the Batwa Pygmies, walk the Batwa Trail, and hike the Muhavura or Gahinga Volcanoes.
- All gorilla permits need to be purchased at the time of booking or a deposit equivalent to 20% of the cost of the safari paid, whichever is higher.
- Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited.
- Any additional gorilla permits required should be purchased when booking.
- Gorilla permit prices are subject to change without warning.
