Explore the gorgeous Leavenworth, WA backcountry on an all-inclusive 4-day / 3-night mountain biking adventure! Ride, hike, raft and explore the wild outdoors during the day, with a soft bed and terrific meals awaiting every evening. Our guides will divide the group by biking ability, each leading a subgroup on area trails perfectly suited to your skill and sense of adventure. In addition to sharing local knowledge along the way, guides will offer personalized coaching to improve your skill and confidence. Should you desire a change of pace, we've got any number of great hikes in our back pockets. You'll even spend a half day on a thrilling raft trip down the scenic Wenatchee River (no prior experience necessary).

Start/Finish: Issaquah or Leavenworth, WA

DAY 1: Explore Icicle Ridge and Round Mountain.

Round Mountain and Icicle Ridge - these high mountain rides offer fabulous views of Leavenworth and the beauty of the Wenatchee Lake area. We'll shuttle you up to a sweeping singletrack trail down the end of Nason Ridge. Or push your limits to see how far up the ridge you can make it.

DAY 2: Ride with devils and/or nerfs...at Devils Gulch and Loop Dneurf.

Rock and roll at Devils Gulch, one of the most exciting singletrack trails in the area (The Seattle Post-Intelligencer called it 'sinfully delicious.') There's an expert version that ranges between blood-curdling downhill and thigh-burning climbs to grandiose views, as well as a more genteel variation that follows a forest road then curls onto the trail at a kinder spot. Either way you choose, bring lots of sunscreen and water. And/or ride Loop Dnuerf (pronounced "d-nerf"), a non-technical/1,500ft vertical/ 8.5mi smooth single track perfect for those who just want to cruise.

DAY 3: Thrill-chasing on the Wenatchee River with Osprey Rafting Company.

Osprey Rafting Company is the Wenatchee Valley's home town river company, providing thrills and excitement since 1991. Over a 16-mile stretch of the Wenatchee River, you'll paddle from the pines of Leavenworth to the sunny orchards of Cashmere. Ride the rapids, drift through calm regions where water ouzels and ospreys make their nests and tackle the 'bad boys': Sharks Tooth Rapids, Drunkard's Drop, Snow Blind and last but certainly not the least - The Suffocator. Afterward you'll disembark at Huck's Landing, Osprey's private park/beach with a big appetite for their down-home BBQ.

DAY 4: The finale: Ride Freund Canyon - one of the best singletrack trails in the Leavenworth area.

One of the best singletrack trails in the Leavenworth Area and home to the Bavarian Bike and Brews Race, Freund Canyon Loop offers 8.5 miles of smooth non-technical singletrack with 1500 feet of climbing. Or you can take the more challenging route: skinny singletrack switchbacks straight up - then straight down with lots of fun jumping the water bar berms (says one rider of this route "It's crazy, sick fun...you will most likely either really like it or really hate it." Either way, make sure you pause for a moment at the top to take in the panoramic views of the Leavenworth valley and the surrounding orchards.
