Here the canyon walls open to beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, rising to over 14,000 feet. The river flows from the high country it`s clear and teeming with trout.
12 Miles, Class II-III, Half Day Adult Youth
Here the canyon walls open to beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, rising to over 14,000 feet. The river flows from the high country it`s clear and teeming with trout. A gentle start moving into more challenging whitewater for the more experienced paddlers. The meeting location is right on the river at Dvorak`s "Exclusive" Parkdale River Center. 11 miles west of Canon City or 56 Miles east of Salida on Highway 50. (See Map). No Lunch is provided on half day trips. All boating equipment is provided as well as rain gear and life jackets. "BOOK EARLY" Some dates are limited guests.

  • Transportation, meals & lodging pre and post trip
  • Personal clothing and other sundry items.
CANCELLATIONS: 20% cancellation fee applied if cancelled 60 days prior to departure. Cancellations within 60 days are 100% non-cancelable
