Day 1: Anchorage and Girdwood
Get a big eyeful of Alaska on this first day of your adventure! After breakfast enjoy a bike ride on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, an easy 11-mile bike path that offers impressive views of the Alaska Range and Cook Inlet. This afternoon we drive down to Girdwood along Turnagain Arm, with dramatic views of the mountains and water. We might see Dall sheep, moose, bears and even possibly beluga whales. In Girdwood, we ride the tram to the top of the Mt. Alyeska ski slope to take in the amazing glacier views.
Day 2: Girdwood
Greet the morning with a glorious hike right out your door through lush temperate rainforest . The trail follows a stream to Glacier Creek, which you cross in a hand tram. After our hike we catch the train for a scenic ride to Spencer Glacier for a fun float among the icebergs on Spencer Lake followed by a drift down the Placer River. Dinner this evening is on your own. There are several nice options at the hotel, or the hotel offers a shuttle to other restaurants in town.
Day 3: Seward and Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge
A scenic 90-mile drive takes us to Seward, where we board a comfortable boat for Kenai Fjords National Park and our wilderness lodge. On our boat ride we explore the spectacular fjords, get close to glaciers, and watch for whales, Steller sea lions, sea otters, puffins and more. Our exclusive lodge is nestled in a protected tidal lagoon and offers miles of pristine beachfront and incredible views of Pederson Glacier. This afternoon you meet your local guides and take a stroll along the coastline looking for natural treasures like sea glass.

The rugged beauty of Alaska's spectacular seacoast and abundant marine wildlife is balanced nicely with the creature comforts of private cabins, a cozy main lodge and hearty meals with gourmet flair.
Day 4: Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge
The whole day is yours to explore, with a wide array of activities to suit your energy level and interests. Guided options may include interpretive nature walks, sea kayaking, or exploring the lagoon by canoe. Curious sea otters and seals frequent the lagoon, just steps from the main lodge deck, and bears and other wildlife sometimes show up in a nearby meadow. Over dinner, share stories from your day’s adventure with your fellow travelers, and later join an evening natural history presentation from local experts.
