Arkansas River - Browns Canyon: Class III and IV, is 36 miles down the most popular stretch of whitewater in the country. Camp on the banks of the granite canyon while guides will prepare meals. Relax, try your hand at fishing or fireside chat while the evening comes on. Wildlife will be coming down for a drink of the clear waters in the canyon.

All meals lunch thru lunch. Overnight trips require a minimum of 6 persons.

Day 1-2

Meeting time is 9:00 a.m. at our Nathrop, CO 81236, base; located at 17921 US Highway 285, about 10 miles south of Buena Vista, CO.

Overnight rafting through Browns Canyon class II-III . This is wilderness camping on the river bank and we provide all rafting equipment, cooking and eating utensils and all the meals lunch through lunch. Our combinations include: tents, sleeping bags, pads, wetsuit and boots. If you do not have your own camping gear please refer to the rental page for options and reservations.

Downstream of the Numbers, the Arkansas slices through granite and forms this famous canyon. It can be a new challenge or an exhilarating first experience. We will return you to the base about 4 p.m. the second day. Parking for your vehicle is safe at our private parking area.

TRIP INCLUDES

Lodging arrangements (except for pre and post nights) as described below dependent on length of your trip and method of arrival.
The shuttle and transport to and from the office to the river or activity is provided. Drive own options.
½ - 7 days raft/hike/horseback/bike/jeep/etc.
Splash Jacket with pants
Eating utensils, cup, plate (on overnight trips) Meal prep by Dvoraks.
Water proof dry bags/containers for personal gear (on river trip portions)

TRIP DOES NOT INCLUDE

Transportation to and from Airport or drive into Valley at the arranged meeting point. (Dvorak's Expedition Colorado Base)

CANCELLATIONS: 20% cancellation fee applied if cancelled 60 days prior to departure. Cancellations within 60 days are 100% non-cancelable
