The accommodation was excellent and staff very helpful - great having a rooftop pool and locations were spot on. We would however have been happy with lesser standard at a better price. Iguazu was great, and Rio Favella tour especially and Lapa night out arranged by the tour guide.

Rhythms of South America provides a great snapshot of South America for first time travellers to the continent. Lots of variety and all the key destinations like Machu Picchu and Iguazu falls are included. Just be aware that some things change in South America with little notice. I was disappointed to miss the road trip across the Andes from Santiago to Mendoza due to the weather related closure of the border. There was no warning of this possibility. Overall a great experience that I would recommend.

Take your hiking boots they are a must. Beware when flying from La Paz airport every bag was opened and searched once checked in. If you land in Santiago airport other than in transit you have to pay USD 117 visa book flight that lands at Iquique you still go through customs for Chile but don't have to pay visa fee.

The good thing about this trip was the small numbers, enabling us to travel in a mini bus, and have more interaction with our guide. We also learnt a lot about the local people, and how they live, and their history. All in all a very enjoyable trip.

Excellent holiday, had nothing in common with other members on the tour. Pleasant. Looking forward to Patagonia which was my first choice. I definitely did not fancy Brazil and wont be going there again. Loved Chile and Argentina with a passion. Thanks Peregrine.

Always do as much research as to the places you want to see. Always be respectful of the local customs . Be flexible as there are always unforeseen conditions.

We are a company built by travellers for travellers. Take a walk around our offices and you’ll see the empty desks of people out on trips, or hear people swapping stories about a place they have just visited. Land at your destination and discover your tour leader is local to the region.

Wherever you travel with us we’ll take you to the major highlights as well as along the route less taken. This gets you closer to the local people and the culture you came to discover. We promise to share our knowledge and expertise with you, and ensure you will come home with stories you will tell for years to come.
