It was a wonderful trip. Henry put together a great itinerary, and after he left, Pia pulled it all together. I liked a lot of the hotels. I liked the location of the hotel in Santiago, as it was in town in an interesting and fun neighborhood. Many of the hotels were beautiful, but the distance from the city was very big. I like to eat dinner in the city and walk around after dinner, and I could not do that when the hotels were so far. The hotel in Mendoza was lovely, as was the hotel in Puerto Varas, but both were very far out of town. The hotel in Bariloche and the hotel in El Calafate wre within easy walking distance to town, and I like that. I love the estancia, Estancia La Candelaria del Monte. It was an exceptional experience. The staff and the food were wonderful. I would highly recommend this. We had exceptional guides, particularly Frederico in Bariloche and Vincent in Mendoza. They were absolutely the BEST and made the experience. Antonio in Chiloe Island was also good. My favorite excursions were Bariloche when Frederico took us on a hike to “Enchanted Valley” and then for a wonderful lunch at an estancia. Upscale Glacier. That was a wonderful experience. Seeing the icebergs floating in the water is magical. I would recommend it to my friends. I think you should ask whether people prefer hotels outside town with beautiful grounds or prefer to stay in town. Other than the distance of some of the hotels, I have nothing negative to say. It was a fantastic trip!

My favorite hotel in Buenos Aires was L'hotel Palermo. It was a little oasis in the midst of noise and crowd. I loved the beautiful yard, pool and garden room and of course the breakfast in a relaxed setting. The most beautiful tour was a boat tour/hike in Braso Tristessa lake, led by Kawen tours. My favorite hotel in Calafate was l'estapa . Their views, quietness, multiple rooms to read and relax and the very best gourmet dinner, lunch and breakfast. It was a feas I just loved lake Argentina and Perito Moreno was the biggest highlight of my trip. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness.

We are back in Kansas City and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our Argentina trip and how great the planning and services were. Particularly, we appreciated the greeting and help from Vanesa and Roberto. Our city guide, Victoria was great. When we changed our return from Uruguay your team responding quickly and efficiently! Seeing Roberto’s smiling face upon our return was a great relief! In addition, your tour arrangements in Colonia, Mendoza and Bariloche were excellent. Our guide in helped rearrange our return, our guide in Mendoza went the extra mile to find another vineyard to visit when we found a scheduled one closed. Our guide and driver in Bariloche, Alexandra and Fernando were outstanding. I would highly recommend them for anyone you send there. Lastly, our final driver in Buenos Aires, the Polish guy, Ven (??) was just the very best. We couldn’t have had better drivers than he and Roberto. Please give all your team our thanks.

Patty, Overall, we were very satisfied We liked all three hotels, they were all well located and pleasant. Everything went very smoothly in Argentina and we were impressed you had someone there to meet us when our flight changed and we appreciated how you handled the hotel in BA when the AC went out. There were some things we think could have been better, however. The city tour in BA was useful, but disappointing since it was in both English and Spanish, so a lot of time was wasted. They also took us to the soccer stadium, which was not part of the plan and not very interesting. We were also frustrated by slow response from your office when were were planning the trip. Before we paid the deposit, Henry was very responsive and helpful. Once we paid, we were assigned to someone else (then back to Henry) and it became very difficult to get responses to questions, often taking a week and several queries. Because of this, we ended up using another, more responsive agency to make our arrangements in Mendoza. In the end, everything worked out very well and we had a great trip, Thanks again for your part it making it a great success. Marc

The best hotel was the Kau Yatun in El Calafate. Very relaxing, nice feel at reception and in bar and restaurant. We enjoyed the free outdoor show at the neighbouring estancia especially and the meal was excellent. Room not the best one that was in Mendoza. Although the one at Las Caquenans in Ushuaia was the best we did not book that with you my cousin arranged it. That was mainly because of the fabulous views but it is not cheap. The hotels at Iguazu and Mendoza were both of good standard and we had no complaints As regards the trips they were all very good I particularly enjoyed the boat ride into the falls at Iguazu whereas my wife could not see enough of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We both loved the penguins and Ushuaia generally. In both Clafate and Ushuaia we had incredibly god weather with little wind (very important) and only a short snow shower at the glacier before we had glorious sunshine. In Mendoza the wine trips were ok but we felt we would have liked to have had more on the tasting perhaps one bodega only or two over a day. Perhaps we needed to think that one through ourselves. The trip to the olive oil plant and the church at the end of the tour were very interesting. The only problem was that the high mountain tour was 10 hours mostly in a coach with little walking. We did not appreciate this and gave it a miss. Instead we walked around Mendoza's tree lined streets and plazas which was very enjoyable As regards organisation Posadas to Iguazu was good as the d

I didn't have to worry about transportation once I arrived to my location or where I was going to stay. I felt very safe the entire time and like I was cared for well, which means a lot to me since I'm a young college student traveling in foreign country. I really liked the place we stayed at in Mendoza (Bohemia Hotel); it had personal homey touches and was very comfortable. It was also in a great location because we only had to walk a few blocks to get to some really great restaurants and bars. What I really liked about traveling was that we could customize our trip: for Iguazu, my friends and I decided to skip out on the Brazilian side of the falls because we didn't want to pay the pricey visa, switched up our plan and threw in a really fun trekking and zip-lining excursion. The only recommendation that I would have isn't really a problem but it might help if you come across travelers who prefer to buy their own flights with the trips. As a student, I have access to slightly cheaper flights from various agencies, so I bought my flights separately for both my trips. The only issue was that I didn't have guidelines/suggestions for when to buy the flights so my flight times were way off from some of the activity/excursion end times. After we finished in Iguazu, my friends and I waited for four hours at our hotel until we were picked up for our flight. Like I said, not really y'alls problem since we bought the flights but maybe if you give trave

We absolutely loved Argentina and the people. They did a great job at organising everything. We were very impressed with the professionalism and the high quality of the tour guides we had everywhere. The only hotel we didn’t care for as mentioned to you, was Patagonia Rebelde Hotel in El Calafate. It was a bit far from the town centre and the people running it seemed to lack that personalised touch that all other places had. Also the rooms are very small and the walls are thin. But otherwise, all hotels were great! Thanks for the recipe. We will definitely try it out!

A great introduction to Argentina. We enjoyed staying in small hotels and the pre-arranged trips. It is very difficult to pick out the high points of the three weeks but the penguins and whales of Puerto Madryn and the wines of Mendoza must be near the top. Services - Full marks for the pre departure discussions over where we wished to go and what we wanted to do. The arrangements went as well as can be expected with a trip of this length and we particularly welcomed having a direct contact with the office in Buenos Aires. We also enjoyed the wine presented as a gift on the our day of arrival: it set a standard. All the guides and local agents were efficient and helpful.

My travel in Argentina was a good balance of organized activity and time on my own. Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Patagonia provided three incredible travel experiences. I loved them all - food, history and culture in Buenos Aires; wine, beautiful parks, and the mountains in and around Mendoza; and the amazing glaciers and treks in Patagonia. My meals were generally good but they would have been better if there was more fresh vegetables and fruit.

Our trip was very nice! We loved touring BA with you although I probably would have booked you for 2 afternoons for a little longer period of time and visited San Telma and La Boca one day and Recoleta and Palermo the next day with a meal/cafe on each day. That doesn't have anything to do with you it just would have been better for us (in hindsight). In regards to our favorite hotel: we loved Magnolia Hotel because the service was great and the rooms were nice and quiet. I found that hotel on my own The sheraton in Iguazu was fine and it was nice to be in the park but it was pretty expensive for how bland and "worn" the hotel is. The hotel in Mendoza (Villagio...I think) was in a good location and staff was nice. We loved the wine tour in Mendoza. The guide was nice and the 2 vineyards we visited were perfect. We did not really like the tour to the andes. The guide was more interested in her mate and cigarettes and talking to the bus driver and friends they picked up on the way. She was able to recite some interesting history and we stopped at a couple of interesting places but the trip was too long and the guide was unprofessional. The flights were fine and I am sure quicker then riding a bus. It would have been nice to have a shorter trip from Iguazu to Mendoza (had to fly back to BA and wait a few hours) but I don't know if that is possible. My daughter, Sarah, will send you a picture. Since we lost our phones we don't have pictures but she took som

We really enjoyed our trip to Argentina – who knew it could be so incredibly beautiful? We are now big fans of independent travel and hope this catches on in other countries because it suits us perfectly. They did a fine job of coordinating all our transfers, activities…it was all very smooth. The only constructive comment is on Hotel Cataratas: great buffet but the room had very poor air conditioning, never any hot water when we needed, plus the electricity kept going off - I suppose that is Puerto Iguazu for you! The other comment is that we were charged 3% of our booking fee…had we known this we might not have paid via credit card. Thanks so much for the champagne and Empanada recipe (the best Empanadas we had were in Buenos Aires at a tiny little store).
