Overall, we wouldn't recommend doing Santiago to Beounos Aires trip on its own. We didn't find Santiago terribly interesting (possibly because we were there on a weekend when nothing is open). Border crossing from Chile to Argentina was spectacular, Mendoza very nice, Estancia stay nice for a relax but very little activity on offer. Buenos Aires very interesting. Suggest taking more time in BA if you can.

This tour (plus the next leg to Rio) was one of the most enjoyable trips I've done. Fantastic guide, nice small group, didn't have to sit on a bus all day, good hotels excellently located, good mix of planned activities and free time. Highlights were the wineries and estancia stay. Ages ranged from mid-30s to mid-70s and we all got on fine. Thanks!

Beware in Buenos Aires of thieves who throw a smelly mixture on you from behind and then help clean you up. They are expert at removing items from you.

The tour have us a nice introduction to Chile and Argentina while allowing some interaction with locals. It has been a great pleasure to meet like minded travelers and share this experience with them.
