This challenging trek will more than satisfy the ambitious trekker intent on crossing high passes without the commitment of any technical climbing. After taking in the classic climbing routes to the summit of Everest we complete a spectacular traverse over the Cho La to the alpine pastures and lakes of Gokyo. We have trekked in Nepal several times now, and we would not travel with anyone else but you. The whole staff including guides, cooks and porters are friendly, professional and we cannot thank them enough for making our trips wonderful memories. Our last trek in April did not go to itinerary because of the weather but Kirat, Teka and Andower were all so wonderful that it made up for the changes in our plans and we still had a great time... thank you all!!

We are safely back in the UK after the trip of a lifetime. The experience for all of us was so powerful, we think it will take quite a while for us to understand what happened and digest it all.

we shouldn't finish without mentioning admiration for the endlessly busy Mr Lhakpa. He like all World Expeditions staff we met, was very charming and knowledgable, this characteristic seems to be a requirement for employment with the company

If Everest Base Camp looks good but you feel you handle a bit more, turn it up to 11 and go for the 3 High Passes. Not for the faint hearted - this trip will test you physically and mentally. Get super fit, take extra camera cards & clear your mind. You will eat, sleep and breathe the real Himalayas. Seeing Kong Ma or Renjo in the moonlight is truly unforgettable. Having World Expeditions take care of your well being from food and sleeping arrangements to schedules leaves you free to concentrate on absorbing the most amazing sights and sounds. Our crew was wonderful and our guides exceptional. All in all we have had a very special experience.

The amazing sights of the Himalaya, the experience of seeing the highest mountains in the world, and successfully completing an extremely challenging trek were the highlights. I highly recommend this amazing trek - be well prepared and fit. Outstanding organisation - other groups were envious of the way we were looked after so well. Thank you W.E.

World Expeditions are amazing! They look after you very well. This is a very hard trek! You spend a lot of time at altitude. Medical support is fantastic. I got altitude sickness and was so well looked after. It was fabulous.

What an amazing adventure, with both physical and mental challenges in abundance! The advice and support received from our Sherpa Rinzin and his team was outstanding - although it took some getting used to until you realised that this was a long expedition style adventure and needed that level of support to get everyone through safely. Thanks so much to the porters and kitchen staff who carried so much gear (all the way) and worked tirelessly to make our stay in this remote environment so comfortable. Gotta love that cup of tea first thing each morning! Aside from the physical fitness required, the inter-personal relationships in a large group (15) also requires some work (and patience). Thanks to everyone in our group for contributing to a wonderful positive experience. If you are thinking about doing this trip, LOCK IT IN! and enjoy the spectacular scenery, great company and overwhelming support from World Ex...

The experience of a lifetime! The Everest High Passes is a great way to enjoy the Himalaya taking in much more than just a trip to Base Camp. World Expeditions had everything run like clockwork allowing us to concentrate on the scenery and what better than a view of Everest from your tent! I'd definitely use World Expeditions again, an amazing adventure.

Did we enjoy the whole experience -- best adventure ever!!! Physically and mentally demanding but unmissable. Great Team of 15 who unbelievably got on like a 'house on fire' from day one, laughing and wise cracking all the way around. Friends who've taken the experience to another level.

I didn't quite know what to expect from the trek. I didn't want to research it too much so is get a true impact, and that I certainly did. I was blown away by the the spectacular beauty. Every day was fun, even when you're struggling to breath as you knew something amazing was all around. Early season felt like we had the Himalayas all to ourselves. Being outdoors makes people happy and such awe-inspiring beauty is truly humbling. The people of Nepal are so warm and welcoming that it makes you think about how different home is. The whole trip ha's opened my eyes and changed me for the better. Everest High Passes is a must if you want an incredible adventure. Now I'm back I'm London I just want to be there again.

What an amazing trip. Professionally organised, brilliantly run by Rinzin and his team. You need to be fit as it is extremely challenging (mentally and physically). Awesome views of the Everest region on a daily basis. Will definitely use World Expeditions for future trips.

Before booking this trip I had expected to find some faults but from start to finish my trip was extremely professional and just completely life changing. I honestly could not fault World Expeditions. The safety of myself and my team members was of paramount importance and this was reflected everyday. I highly recommend the company to anyone! Not only have I ticked an adventure off my bucket list, I have also made a group of life long friends in both my team members and leaders. Just a fantastic experience, it really was!

Another wonderful trip with WE ! This is the third trip of theirs I have been on and likely not the last. I know I can rely on the good standards of guides, food and accommodation. Our accommodation along the trek was always well placed and comfortable, but still it never felt like we were isolated from the local people or the ruggedness of the terrain. Our guide, Subal, carefully monitored each individual's progress and was immediately on hand when illness or injury occurred. It was very reassuring to have him with us. And the views !! This trek takes in everything there is to see in the Everest region for the experienced trekker, it won't disappoint.
