Annapurna Chitwan

Starts: Mainz, Nepal
Finishes: Mainz, Nepal

Tour Type: Small Group

Accommodation: Moderate

Overview

Book
We combine our Annapurna Trek with a wildlife safari at Chitwan National Park. This adventure is a fine contrast between trekking the remote foothills of the Annapurna's and a safari in the vicinity of Chitwan. We trek through traditional Hindu villages and pristine forests to ridge top camps that afford remarkable views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare. At Chitwan we undertake a wildlife safari in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger. (Our wildlife safaris take place inside the park boundaries.)

Highlights

    • Savour uninterrupted views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges
    • Enjoy a fully supported camping based trek with hearty meals
    • Search for Asiatic Rhino and Bengal Tiger in Chitwan National Park
    • Explore the famous Hindu shrines and Buddhist stupas of Kathmandu
    • Experience a breathtaking mountain flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara

The Annapurna-Chitwan trip was incredible. The staff, guide and chef were amazing, and the sights we saw were out of this world. As our first "adventurous" trip it has sparked an desire to do something more! Thank you to all involved. It truly was the trip of a lifetime!

Wonderful leader, guide and porters, made it just so special. Nepal is a very interesting and beautiful country. There was every effort to make our trip as special as it was, so thank you World Expeditions. Advice for other travellers: Where ever you want to travel first check with World Expeditions to make sure they have tours going in that country. You were first class and would recommend booking with WE before anyone else.

I have traveled extensively in the last 12 years. I wish I had found World Expeditions before this last year. As the saying goes 'you get what you pay for' and with this company you get the lot plus a bit more. Well done WE I hope I can travel with you again. I have tried very hard to think how you can improve but came up with nothing!

The Annapurna/Chitwan Trek I did recently was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this trek. Stunning scenery throughout the trek, plenty of wildlife. Our guide was amazing, caring, supportive, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour

Trekking in Annapurna was an amazing experience - our guide Bharat made it full of laughs and memorable moments. Our cook, Ram, and his team never disappointed in the array of meals they were able to create along the way. Beautiful scenery and friendly people have certainly ensured that I will be returning to Nepal in the future.

You will be pleased to know that our trip was superb. All was perfect; companions, guide, weather, scenery and organisation. Last year we felt our trip was more strenuous than advertised but this year it was just right, suiting our youngest trekker of 22 to us oldies. Our female guide, BK, was excellent and she is wanting to take us on a similar level trek to Everest region next year. Thank you very much for organising and we look forward to another trek in 2018.

For a first time trekker and camper, this trip was amazing. The camp sites were clean with real beds, hot water and electricity. The food was incredible, so much variety, delicious and enough to make sure you were never hungry. The guide and group leader were friendly, helpful and so easy to get along with. The trek was so challenging mentally and physically, but the beautiful scenery kept me going. I would definitely recommend!

We had an excellent support team who looked after us very well, and made it such an easy trip for us. The bus driver was excellent in trying conditions. Our team leader was amazing, looking out for everyones needs, ours and the support crew, and teaching us about the mountains, the villages, the Nepali history and culture along the way. This made it more than just a trip with a group but an immersive and special experience. The team clearly had a great relationship with the villagers we met along the way making us feel welcomed into the area. I was really impressed by the organisation and support of the company.
