My extended family and I went on the incredible excursion. It was not only highly education but incredibly fun. This trip was organized to a tee which is a must in a foreign country where you don't speak the language . The food was fantastic - there were no complaints from any of my kids and my 12 yr old can be s bit picky. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this trip was and a highly recommend it for anyone who would like to experience Manchu Pichu

This trip was truly a trip of a lifetime! Noel, our guide made the trip. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had every detail under control even when we had to switch plans when he found out the bridge at Santa Teresa was out and we had to walk across a foot bridge and catch a cab to the start of the hike to Aguas Calientes. He worked with our daughter on her spanish and by the end of the trip she was speaking with more confidence. Our driver, Horalias, was great and always had a smile on his face. The food at every restaurant and Mangal Farm was delicious and we never went hungry! We really enjoyed the opportunity to visit with the kids at the school at Cachicatta. The accommodations were great…and what a treat to stay at the Inkaterra!!! The guides at both the rafting and zip line adventures were extremely professional and always made us feel safe. I could go on and on!! We will not hesitate to recommend this trip and your organization.

I fell down at one of the Incan archeological sites and dislocated a finger. Leo, our guide, almost immediately put the finger back in place. Then not long after he splinted and bandaged it. It is well in recovery after only a week. He has experience and knows what to do in emergency. We also had a good driver in Aurelio.

The trip was amazing: Andes mountain vistas, Inca ruins, whitewater rafting, making chocolate from cocoa beans, helping out at a local Andean school, zip-lining, oh and yes, Machu Picchu! Each day was a new adventure. The local guides were all incredibly experienced and knowledgeable.

The range of experiences on this trip were truly amazing. Working at the school was very special and we loved our visit to El Mangal Farm. Adolfo's enthusiasm for his little piece of heaven in Peru was contagious; we loved touring his farm and trying the different fruits, cacao and other items they grow. Be aware, the farm accomodations are fairly basic, which was fine with us because it seemed more realisitic and less touristy, but it is different than the other hotels. The hotels at Ollantaytambo and at Machu Picchu were lovely-very relazing and serene. We learned so much from Wilson, our guide. He was fantastic and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful and educational experience. The food on the trip was absolutely amazing too. We would recommend this trip to any family looking for a great adventure!

If you are looking for a trip that packs a bit of everything into a vacation this tour is for you. In addition to the published activities our guide was very flexible, taking us on additional hikes, stopping at viewpoints and taking care of the travelers with altitude sickness and handling the divergent interests of the group. There were plenty of activities for the adrenaline junkie--zipline, river rafting, and climbing...but also great educational topics. We especially enjoyed the Mangal farm tour -- the owners are so knowledgeable about the herbs and unique plants of peru used for medicinal purposes. Another highlight of the trip was preparing breakfast for the school children. The stops in town to purchase the supplies provided a unique view into how local mountain Peruvians live. The children were so appreciative and sang some songs for us. There were hugs all around when we left. We were prepared to be blown away by Machu Picchu...it is truly a special place, but also enjoyed hearing the history of other Inca ruins too. Our guide - Leo added detailed insights into each of the archeology sites we visited. One of our favorites was a challenging early morning hike up Pinkuylluna to the granaries. The views of Ollantaytambo were fantastic! You will not go hungry on this tour...the meals and accomodations were as diverse and plentiful as the activities. There is plenty of opportunity to try Peruvian specialties...Pisco Sours all around. We event took a break at a local
