Clear your plate for flavour-filled Morocco, where Berber, Arabic and European influences mix to create an adventurous culinary cocktail. Follow the smell of food through mesmerising markets and master recipes taught by those that know them best. Grab street food from a souq and share traditional meals in local homes. Take a handful of bustling medinas, mix with a dash of sea and season with fresh local produce, all drizzled with warm Moroccan hospitality for an adventure that will linger long on the tongue and in the memory.

Highlights

    • Discover the wide world of bread, from Khobz to msmen and tafournout to simit, that forms an essential part of every Moroccan meal. Hollowed out khobz filled with boiled eggs, salt and a good dose of ras el hanout will be your new favourite breakfast
    • Enjoy home-cooked dinner of Chefchaouen flavours with a family in the Blue City
    • Enjoy traditional Berber food and hospitality with a local family up in the High Atlas Mountains, overlooking the crowning peaks in the distance
    • Soak up what could be the quintessential smell of Morocco as you watch ras el hanout being freshly ground in a Marrakech spice souk
    • Eat mechoui (slow roasted lamb), that’s deliciously falling-apart after being cooked in a pit beneath the floor, while looking over market stalls in the incredible Djemma el Fna

Loved it. My friend and I actually added on a day tour to the High Atlas Mountains after the tour. It would have been great to have this added on by them and eat traditional Berber Food as part of the tour. OR take a day off Marakech. I loved Said - couldn't fault him. It was amazing how he organised us all on all the different transports. He looked after any of the group members that got sick. He took us to the best places. As I mentioned, he listened to all of our interests and added extra stops that he knew we would love - and we loved them! He was completely approachable, not awkward at all, never felt uncomfortable with him, always well looked after, he was definitely the best guide I've ever had. I feel so lucky and thankful that we scored him on our tour!

I am thrilled to have been a part of this tour! I know it's in its early stages, so there are some kinks to work out in the schedule, however, overall I really enjoyed the activities and foodie adventures that were provided during the 10 days.

As a "foodie" I really got a vast experience into the delicious world of Moroccoan cuisine! Tastings, cooking demonstrations, street food and hands on home cooking made for a memorable experience. Our guide Samir was truly the master behind our memorable experience and he welcomed us into his country with an open heart and hungry tummy!!!!

The Morocco Food Tour was great. Lots of food experiences in markets, homestays and everywhere else. Also had a really enjoyable mule ride up the mountainside! Completely recommend this trip if you are considering it. They really take the hassle out of travelling by organising all travel and accommodation which allows you to enjoy all the fun parts.

It is a highly professional, well organised company who offer unique, friendly and inclusive travel experiences. There is no better way to experience the lands, it's people, it's culture and customs than with them. Most of all their staff are wonderful and the tours great fun. Truly memorable experiences of a lifetime.
