well organised, unbelievably smooth. friends ask us what the highlight of the trip was, but we find this difficult to answer as it was all interesting. Considering this was the first of this tour, it all went very well with no unpleasant experiences.I was expecting some difficulties in travelling in these countries but there were none- it was seemless, and this was probably due to the excellent tour leader and the initial organisation of the trip.

This was my first experience with group travel and I certainly will be doing it again. The trip was planned to perfection, with enough free time to explore on my own, but with the convenience of the tour leader making all the travel and hotel arrangements. I also was impressed with the urban/rural mix---the time spent away from the big cities was wonderful and allowed for some fresh air and exercise before tackling another history filled city.

This was an incredible trip. With a journey involving this many countries, it's hard to keep everything straight in my mind. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I saw and did, and would easily recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Eastern Europe.

This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience... Five countries in two weeks, whew! What a whirlwind adventure! Everything was beautiful, from the buildings to the food, the mountains to the people. A wonderful trip that I'll remember for the rest of my life...

Tour was great - excellent blend of urban and rural experiences. Great level of self discovery - freedom to discover the cities / locations on your own.

This tour was unique because it covered cultural and historical city perspectives as well as adventurous and fun experiences in mountainous country settings of Eastern Europe. The blend was perfect for experiencing life as it is in that part of the world. The various modes of travel also provided a truly complete observation of life in those countries.

Our guide, Miroslav Janotka, made the trip very special with his extensive knowledge, his familiarity with the locales we visited, with his caring and kindness and with his boundless enthusiasm. He was above and beyond!
